Book Gibby!

Gibby Booth Speaking and EventsGibby is very passionate about dyslexia and loves talking about it in a variety of settings, whether that be in person at a school or program or through the internet on a podcast. Her live presentation is called Dyslexia Is A Superpower and there are three versions: for parents of dyslexic kids, for educators of dyslexics, and of course for dyslexic kids. These are fun, lighthearted, accessible presentations focusing on the positives of dyslexia.

For kids the focus is on having fun and beginning to see how awesome their brain is and that they are apart of a group of superheroes. For adults we address the challenges and awesomeness of being a parent of a dyslexic kid with suggestions and tips included along the way. And for educators the focus is on what to expect with a dyslexic kid in your classroom and how to support them and help them succeed.

The 2019 schedule is filling up! If you’re interested in having Gibby talk at your event or would like to interview her for a podcast or blog please fill out the form below. Gibby is also available to write guest blog posts.

Rates & Such: Gibby feels very strongly that money shouldn’t dictate which children receive help with their dyslexia and which don’t. As a result she offers a sliding scale for all her speaking events to make it the most accessible to everyone. Additionally once a month she donates a talk to a non-profit organization.

What the director of the Commonwealth Learning Center said about Gibby’s presentation:

“Gibby recently presented at our learning center for a group of parents of dyslexic children.  Gibby did a phenomenal presentation.  She was candid, informative, and dynamic!  Her experience resonated with the parents, and they found it extremely insightful.  I would not hesitate to invite Gibby back to present again!” Beth D.
