First of all I just want to make it clear that there are many parents in this boat. So you are not a bad parent and you shouldn’t feel guilty or ashamed if you are here. Plus the fact because you are here (and seeking help) shows you are a caring, proactive parent and that’s just what your dyslexic child needs.
Here are Gibby’s top recommendations for you.
I created the podcast to create a community of kick-ass dyslexics to show episode by episode that there are many ways to succeed as a person with dyslexia. It’s really helpful to hear people from all walks of life talk about how their dyslexia has and continues to help them be successful (whatever that looks like for them). Depending on how old your child is many parents enjoy listening to the episodes with their dyslexic son or daughter. Since parents make up a large portion of the audience I begun a series chatting with parents of dyslexic kids. Those conversations are episodes 57,58,60,63,64.
